Upcoming | Midshow Reception & Live Music
Join us on August 2nd to celebrate the halfway point of KAMI.
Save the Date for 1st Saturday!
Almost two weeks ago, we celebrated the opening of the new Gallery exhibit “Kami: Interpreting the Beauty of Nature Through 3 Generations” by artists Kiya Nicole, Miho Kahn, and Eiko Kahn.
On the first Saturday in August, we will hold the Midshow Reception. This event celebrates the exhibit’s halfway point. For those who missed the opening reception or simply couldn’t make it, this is your next opportunity!

This show represents four generations—over one hundred cumulative years of work. It reflects countless hours spent bent in concentration, pursuing a mastery of craft and developing an almost mystical dedication to expressing ourselves through art.
This is a special intergenerational exhibit celebrating a line of creative, powerful women in the same family. From paintings to short films, there is a little something for everyone found in “Kami.”
1st Saturday Live Music
The midshow reception will offer all the same things as the opening: snacks, drinks, community, nature, and a beautiful sunset.
Plus, live outdoor music by local band Idra and another special guest.
Idra is a 4-piece band from Chester County specializing in unique songwriting, freeform improvisation and spiritual lift-off. Combining elements of rock, jazz & psychedelic trance, they offer a unique experience in the jam band field.
The first time Idra played at the gallery was in December. We’re excited to welcome them back in the summer for an outdoor experience.
Check out their album on Spotify for a preview.
