“Kami: Interpreting the Beauty of Nature Through 3 Generations” is opening this weekend, July 5th at the Longview Gallery.
In honor of the opening reception being in just a few days, we wanted to share some content from the install process.
The artists, Kiya Nicole and Miho Kahn, arrived on Sunday to begin installing and hanging their work. Eiko Kahn’s artwork arrived along with Miho. They made good progress on the first day, and have since returned to make adjustments—add, subtract, and fine-tune as needed.

This exhibit will be the first of its kind at Longview Gallery—an intergenerational show featuring three artists from the same family.
Kiya, Miho, and Eiko are distinct artists, working across various mediums and subject matter, and at different points in their artistic careers.
However, there is a noticeable and effortless pattern that emerges when their work is placed together in a room—one of nature and natural forms. Their collective perspective is based in reverence and appreciation.
There is so much beauty to absorb from these three talented artists, so please consider joining us this weekend for the opening reception! We are honored and thrilled to host their work.
