Rainy Fridays
This week has been particularly rainy. The skies opened at the end of the day on Friday - just in time to catch me mid nature walk!
The rain cleared by the end of my walk leaving behind little raindrops and perfect photography lighting. There was even a rainbow later on.
Garden Today
I found a very sad pile of gardening tools outside my back door particularly effective in redirecting my intention from walking in nature to starting a little garden of my own today.
I emptied out 5 canvas totes of their overgrown contents, used egg cartons and mulch as filler, laid down some fresh potting soil and planted the herbs and nightshades left over from the Earth Day event we hosted last month.
It’s so satisfying to see the plants from the DIY “Planting Seeds” activity finally have a home. Maybe next time they will go home with you in one of Andrew Snyder’s handmade pots.
