April showers bring May flowers… and our next exhibit!
Join us on Saturday, May 3rd for the Longview Gallery’s opening of Pushing Up Daisies, a solo exhibit by local artist Shayna Parker.
Inspired by motherhood, midlife, and her local geography, Pushing Up Daisies reignites Shayna’s passion for creating. Experimenting with new processes and mediums, she presents her latest body of energetic, colorful, and intuitive works.
Shayna Parker’s paintings are chromatic, whimsy, and combine abstract elements with realism. She utilizes color blocking and layering to create depth through dynamic composition.
Pushing Up Daisies explores the journey of rediscovering oneself, relinquishing the past, and embracing a new identity.
