Since the beginning of their relationship, Jessi Stead and Ilya Lehrman have dreamed of someday making their home a multi-purpose location that fosters community and expresses their unique relationship to themselves, each other, and their environment. Now, they are making those dreams come true!
The Longview Farm aims to bring people together through art, nature, technology, and a basic sense of human connection. The Farm itself, nestled in scenic Chester County, PA, sits on 12 acres of land, some forested, some meadowed, and some waiting to be utilized. Their farmhouse, built in 1852, is a picturesque home facing the long view that the farm is named for. The property is also home to a historic barn that Jessi and Ilya have converted into a spacious art gallery which hosts bi-monthly exhibitions of local artists’ work.
Most days on the farm you’ll find folks from the team coworking in the barn gallery, sprucing up the house, caring for the land, or dreaming up a new project. We aim to prioritize passions of our community and partner with other farms and small local businesses to create a supportive environment for everyone.
Many more exciting things are being built at Longview Farm: some physical, some less tangible, but all rooted in the essential human desire to connect and grow. We hope you will stay connected with us on our journey as we create the Longview Farm community Jessi and Ilya have dreamt of for years.
